Ephemeroptera
Mayflies
ephemeros ‘short lived’ + ptera ‘wings’ (Greek)
With “Ephemeroptera” derived from the Greek word for “lasting a day,” this order of insects earns its name from a notoriously short-lived adult lifespan, which can last less than 24 hours.

Street art is born ephemeral: it lives briefly, but intensely. It thrives in the moment, often created under the cover of night or in the quiet corners of bustling cities.

Over time, some pieces rise to fame, celebrated in galleries or preserved as cultural landmarks. Others are commissioned, becoming permanent fixtures in urban landscapes.

But the vast majority of street art is fleeting—painted over, weathered away, or simply forgotten, enjoyed only by those who happen to pass by at the right time.

That’s where we come in. We collect the pieces that struck us, the ones that made us pause and take a second look.

Whether it’s a sprawling mural, a clever stencil, or a tiny sticker hidden in plain sight, we believe these works are worth remembering—even if just through a photo.

Because while street art may be temporary, its beauty, its message, and its impact can last far beyond the moment it was created.

This is our way of keeping the ephemeral alive.

Let’s start!
